A:AnswerThank you for the question. Windows in S Mode requires exclusive use of the Edge browser and downloads only from the Microsoft Store. You can overcome this by converting the laptop out of S Mode, into Windows 11 Home - a free, easy, and non-reversible conversion. We would suggest that you review other system requirements for Respondus to ascertain if this system (processor, amount of RAM, etc. meets those requirements.
A:AnswerHello, this device is a Windows operating software device and anything you can do on a Windows device you will be able to do on this. Thank you for being an HP customer!
A:AnswerYes, they are already installed. The computer comes with a one-month trial of 365, but you should be able to enter your login credentials to override the trial period.
A:AnswerCorrect, this does not have the Chrome OS, it has the Windows 11 Home in S Mode operating system and it can not be converted to the Windows 7 OS.
A:AnswerBecause the computer is running in S Mode, it can only download apps that are in the Windows Store, and the AOL browser is not available. However, you can easily take the computer out of S mode, and then you could download and run the AOL browser. Microsoft has the instructions for taking the computer out of S mode at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/switching-out-of-s-mode-in-windows-4f56d9be-99ec-6983-119f-031bfb28a307#WindowsVersion=Windows_11

A:AnswerIt depends where "outside America" you're going. If you're talking about someplace like Canada, which uses the same electrical voltage and outlets it will work just fine. In other countries, you may need a "step down" transformer if their line voltage is 220 instead of the 110 it is in the US. You may also need an adapter to handle the different electrical outlets. Once you have those, you should have no problem.
A:AnswerSo long as you are not running numerous overly complex programs simultaneously, it should not have a problem.
You would have to be more specific regarding what your work entails you to use, in terms of the computer, to have an idea of the computing power you would need.
