• It would because it has a disk drive plus the screen is much bigger.

• If you use your laptop for light tasks such as web browsing, checking your email, and streaming video and music, than both would work just fine. But the Chromebook has a lighter OS, so it could be faster. But you will not be able to install some Windows programs because the Chromebook is based off the entire Chrome browser. So I recommend the Windows computer but it's your choice.
