I think this is a good computer for a beginner for the price, and there's plenty of storage (4GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive). It has a built-in camera if you're on Facebook. Just keep in mind that Windows 10 is pre-loaded, and Windows 10 is a bit different from previous versions of Windows.
