• The specs on BestBuy says SDDR4 at 1866 GHz. Most DDR4 runs at 2133 GHz.. Type of Memory (RAM) DDR4 SDRAM Number Of Memory Slots 2 System Memory RAM Speed 1866 megahertz

• Good question. This laptop has DDR4 RAM. To see the HP official spec sheet for this computer, please visit the following link: http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c05091586.pdf This document states that this computer has DDR4 RAM. I hope this helps.
