• It would be fine, however I've found with mine that it gets way too hot too fast and shuts down. For this reason I wouldn't buy it again. I'm keeping a plate on my lap to keep it from getting too hot, which is crazy.

• I am in college and I think it does just fine but as I mentioned earlier I hardly do much more with it

• Yes I believe it will work well for a college student. I use it daily for office/web/email and have had no issues. I haven't tried playing any games. Good Luck!

• yes, you will find you need it to do your research and type your papers. You may also take classes on line. I like the portability.
