My daughter uses this for online classes as well. It runs Blackboard and other programs frequently used, yet is not very expensive compared to some other laptops. As I noted in the review, my daughter also carries hers around with her everywhere and it is fairly durable, and it is decent at multitasking. I would recommend this computer for this purpose.
