“Why can't they state exactly what operating system it has? Home or Pro edition? Best Buy is the only one that really does this. It's one of those things that a non tech savvy person would get sucked into and then have to upgrade later.”

They did state exactly what the operating system has. It is a Pro edition. If you do have to upgrade later it should be free.
