• The simple answer is "yes." Note that HP warns against the buyer doing this him/herself, but rather, it be performed by a certified technician. This does not mean that the user could NOT make the upgrade, but it does frequently mean that doing so will void the warranty. Also, it is a matter of some small degree of technical knowledge, as well as comfort with working with tiny pieces in a confined space. My suggestion is that you check in YouTube re this model for videos on how to do the upgrade, before you make a final decision.
