I have worked on PCs over 40 years and this is a great 17.3 inch machine for the recent sale prices. For generalized tasks there is no need to buy a higher priced model unless you want backlit keyboard or touchscreen models. I've taken my machine out of "S" mode but encountered repeated "Try Again" messages in the process, probably due to temporary Microsoft licensing server issues. I successfully switched to Windows 11 Home version after another 30 minutes later, so no worries if it doesn't work the first times you try. Enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, no problem exiting S Mode. The guy was either poorly trained or new and didn't know better.
