HP's reply is the best of the two responses. Just wanted to add that for the best way to make your new computer like your old (same programs, settings, etc.) you should use LapLink PCmover, which is probably what Best Buy would use. A one-time purchase (~$60) provides a single serial number, valid for up to 25 uses, which should cover your purchases for some time to come.

You can transfer data by backing up your old files to the cloud and then downloading them from the cloud to the new computer. Alternatively, you can use a transfer cable connected to each computer. Also, Geek Squad will do it for you for a small fee. Please reach out to your local Best Buy for more information.
