“The camera looks so bad, I have never seen anything like this before. Do I have to get a little piece of foil off of the little camera circle? I tried and I don't want to scratch something off that isn't there. Is there foil on the screen too?”

The computer does ship with a covering on the camera and screen to help protect against scratches during assembly and transport. On both, there should be a little tab that you can grab to remove them.
