Actually, it does have an Ethernet port, on the left side near the back. It's a little hard to see because it's designed so that the bottom folds up when the port is not in use. The computer ships with Windows 10 Home edition, but the Best Buy Geek Squad can do the update for you. You'll need to consult them on the price for the software and installation. I'm not seeing an open slot to upgrade the hard drive, so you'd need to replace the existing one with a drive with a higher capacity.
