“what does s mode mean? Is it better to run in windows 10 or s mode? What is the difference?”

I wanted to buy this Computer, someone told me not to because of the S in it. I am soooo glad i did not buy it. I don't use apps.

Good question, all that "S" mode means it that only Microsoft software(Apps) can be installed. That being said whether you Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro is up to you. I will say that windows 10 pro is more stable than Windows 10 Home version. Both have similar programs and options. I prefer Windows 10 Pro.

S mode is a locked down operating system. It allows apps to be installed from the Store. I haven't used it yet to know if it is better in s mode or not, still learning my way around my new computer at this time.
