- Answer Yes you can, However a skilled computer repair place like 'Geek Squad' should be the ones to perform the install, because warranty needs to be maintained. Doing it yourself will likely void the warranty.

- Answer Good question, all that "S" mode means it that only Microsoft software(Apps) can be installed. That being said whether you Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro is up to you. I will say that windows 10 pro is more stable than Windows 10 Home version. Both have similar programs and options. I prefer Windows 10 Pro.
