Hi Albert, yes to the SSD Geek Squad upgraded for me and I reused the 1 TB hard drive installed in a cage by them for backup. The 16 GB RAM is sufficient for me with no problems. I suppose if it needs to do page flops, the SSD is more than up to the job. Fantastic, wicked fast machine! Thanks, Geek Squad.
