I love my enny. The touch screen and graphics are amazing. The touch screen reation time is perfect. I can run 4 videos programs and have no lag.
With the huge hard drive storage will never be an issue.
The stereo sound will astound you. Truly amazing for a laptop. Backlit keyboard you can turn on and off. 17" screen is perfect. The metal casing never gets hot like the plastic shells.
This is a purchase you won't regret.

I needed more umph than my other laptops, so I selected this one, while on the road, and wow, fast, easy setup and touch screen to boot ... love everything about this laptop
I use it as a server hub, networking two other laptops and 10 tablets through it with a zippy router and hit never slowed down, performed at lightening speed for a week of hard work :)

I needed to replace my previous HP laptop. Have given up on Dell after many years with them, and wanted another HP. This one is fast, dependable, great screen. Everything I need for home/business use. Only downside is it is a little on the heavy side. But if you don't need to carry it around a lot, that shouldn't be a problem.

Reviewed all previous customer input prior to purchasing. Most were right on with their assessments. The HP Envy is super for my purposes. I have a travel position therefore being light and thin was a benefit. Traveling through TSA stops was easier as well. The performance is all that was expected per the specs. I have not completed any performance tests but based on similar HP laptop owned it was better. The touch screen is great for quick navigating. For me the touch pad required me to get accustomed to the double switch position. Since I did not read the instructions, found this by working the computer. I did find on a few occasions that the boot-up took a very long time. It has not done it since, so I believe it had downloaded updates which were not apparent from the screen. The software package is super and I accept the fact that having a monthly charge with updated software is better than purchasing parent version then yearly updates. Overall the Best Buy special on this model was well worth the purchase.

I replaced my old MSI computer with this HP only because the MSI could no longer be fixed by the geek squad. This HP had big shoes to fill as the MSI was a great computer. HP was up to the challenge. I lam very pleased with this computer, it has speed, capacity and I am loving the touch screen. Putting a lot of software on the HP and it does not slow it down. It has great graphics and the screen is exceptionally clear. I wanted a laptop that still has the CD option. This one does. I Couldn't be happier.

I needed a large laptop and I know this is heavier than most but since I only take it to the car and then into a client's office and return to my office, I don't mind the trade off of a additional few ounces for the larger screen. I also like the fact that it still has a DVD/CD player in it. So many laptops don't have that now. The problems I have had were caused by HP updates and calendar syncing problems with Google and my iPhone. I am not a fan of Google but my company uses them and it can be tricky trying to sync with the updates between Google and HP. It is probably my fault but still annoying. Thank Goodness I signed up for the Geek Squad program because they have been helpful, friendly, supportive and able to make the corrections I needed each time. IF you don't mind the extra weight, this is a good laptop with a large screen that allows you watch Netflix and has a very good sound quality for listening to Sirius XM.

Needed a new laptop and wanted one with a bigger screen. Went to Best Buy and found this HP with a 17.3 screen. I am not young and not very knowledgeable about electronics in general, but this seemed like it would work for me and so far so good.

Running multiple websites online requires a dependable computer with a huge storage capability. This computer easily exceeds that criteria as well as many other advantages. The size of the monitor is perfect for me, the photos and graphics are crystal clear. I love that the keyboard lights up so you can even use it in the dark. I also selected this laptop computer based on the keyboard having the number and functions keypad to the right of the keyboard. That in itself makes my life easier and allows me to get some of my work completed much quicker with more accuracy. Once the battery is fully charged and in use with just the battery.... The battery level remains charged for an extremely long time. I haven't used it until it was fully depleted, but I used it for well over an hour and it still had plenty of juice left. As with anything, nothing is completely perfect. I would say the one thing I dislike about this laptop is the version of Windows Paint 3D loaded instead of just Paint. Fortunately, this has nothing to do with the actual HP laptop, so please don't hold that against it. Paint is being phased out and replaced by Paint 3D (again, loaded on this laptop). I personally wouldn't have an issue with this, but the newest version is not allowing me to do what I normally use Paint for, so I have to jump from one computer to the next and it is a pretty big inconvenience. I'm sure there are other programs I could purchase to do what I need to, but I would also have to find what would better fit my needs and learn how to use the program. From what I understand any new laptop or computer purchase will result in receiving it with the new version.

I bought this for my father. He's 84 and deaf. He was replacing a Win 7 laptop that seemed pretty slow to me. My father loves the speed of the computer, and he's finding the touch screen to be an easy user interface.

My HP ENVY laptop is very satisfactory. I still am in a learning curve and need to go in to see the geeks, but it is a great machine. Love the big 17 inch screen.

There are many things I like about this laptop. 17" screen is amazing! And it is still light weight. I'm still not familiar with Windows 10 but that's my problem not the are the laptop's. I
have two issues: I always seem to hit the caps lock key by mistake, so I spend a lot of time back spacing and I CANNOT see the letters, etc, on the keyboard! The keys are silver and the letters are back lite so in the day time they might as well be blank.
Or you have to darken the room.
It is better at night or a dark room but not a lot better. I have eye strain every night.

I considered the MacBook and others, but since this laptop was 40% the price of the Mac, it was a no brainer. Huge screen, lots of power and touch screen. I replaced my old HP laptop with a 17" screen which I used for about 8 years and never had any issues other than it just got too slow.
My only complaint with this laptop is the sound. Apparently it has great sound but the drivers that came with it make it sound like a transistor radio both speaker and headphones. I've done some reading and there is a driver update that allows you to actually get the Bang and Olufson sound it was meant to come with, you just have to do some work. Maybe HP will fix this in an update moving forward.
Note: There have been some reviews about a "glow" at the bottom of the screen that magically appears. That's how LED screens work. They have to get light from somewhere. You only notice this, if you're looking for it, when the screen is black and the laptop is on. In regular viewing it isn't noticeable and even when it is it's isn't a big deal.
Otherwise, I can't say enough good things about it. Recommend.

I reviewed then brought this computer. I am so far thrilled at the way I was able to set it up and start using it. The screen is clear and steady.
The set up instructions are easy to follow I sat it up in a few minutes. I would buy it again so far and recommend it to others. I did pay a little more than I had planned but I think it was worth the extra cash.
