Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.While the one answer says there is a speaker on the monitor, I do not have any information which indicates it has that. If you left click once on the volume icon next to the clock on your start bar you will see the name of your audio output device. Click it and select your laptops speakers, this way it will not try to send the sound through the HDMI port.
