I wouldn't use it for photo editing, the colors are great. But the blacks aren't deep, a little gray in fact.
It is an ISP monitor which is recommended for photo editing. Although I find it to be accurate out of box it’s still a good idea to have it calibrated
In order to get the blacks to be black, you need to set the Output dynamic range to Full. I use NVIDIA and it's in the NVIDIA control panel settings. I love this monitor.
