“I bought this screen and there is a black bar around the sides and top of it. It looks like part of the screen should be able to go there but it does not. Is the screen suppose to be edge to edge or are the black bars just a design choice.”

• You might want to check your aspect ratio, to make sure it's set to match the specs for the monitor. Also, these monitors are made for HDMI and display port connections. If you're using a different cable with an adapter, that might be the cause

• There should only be a slight bezel on the sides and top, it should be very thin though.
