“Does this printer require a cd software installation download? Reason my asking is I have a laptop that doesn't have a cd drive , I wasnt sure if it was needed for installing the printer or if we could print wireless with wifi from the pc to printer”

• No disc required and you can print over wifi... you can also download app on ur phone..

• No, you do not need a CD to install the software. You can download the printer drivers and software from the HP support site.
