“I bought this laptop yesterday. I was surprised it only has 2.80Ghz. it seems very low with an I7 and 16GB. the background is to bright, on web pages and when I lower the brightness it doesn't really help. Is there a way to adjust this?”

The F2 keys is the "lower brightness" button several levels, while the F3 increases brightness. Hope this helps. Just tested on mine, and it does lower brightness significantly.
