Honestly, I can't answer why the processor specs aren't included or why HP didn't include a keypad, but I can tell you that the processor has a "base speed" of 1.8 GHz. That doesn't sound high, but think of it like the idle speed of a car engine. As the workload on the computer increases, the processor can speed itself up to 4.3 GHz.

Please try again later.The current standard for base processor speed is above 2Ghz more like 2.5Ghz so it is not a spec to highlight at 1.8Ghz...as long as there arent issues with spec criteria to access a software it should be fine....but it should be above 2.5Ghz base speed at this price point.
