Do I need printer cable? null

The Envy 7858 printer is wireless so no printer cable is needed.

There are three ways to hook up this printer: Ethernet (there is an ethernet port provided on the back of the printer), wirelessly via WiFi, or via a USB printer cable (which is included in the box). So to answer your question, the printer cable is not needed unless you choose to hook it up that way. Be warned that a USB-only connection will prevent you from making use of an Instant Ink subscription, but otherwise the printer will work fine. However, I think HP expects most people to hook this printer up via Wifi or Ethernet.
