Where is located USB type A? null

A standard USB-A port is located on the back of the printer, directly below the Ethernet port. The contents of the box includes a male-to-male USB A to B printer cable which can be used if you wish to connect the printer directly to your computer rather than via a WiFi or Ethernet connection. However, be aware that having a USB-only connection will prevent your printer from communicating with HP and you will not be able to have an Instant Ink subscription.

The Envy 7858 printer has a USB port (along with an SD card slot) on the front left. These ports are used for scanning to or printing from a thumb drive or SD card. This printer also has the capability to connect a USB printer cable from the printer (port located on the rear of the unit) to a computer.
