How do you turn off the desktop tower null

I have the same trouble. I have to put my fingernail in the slit and hold it down. Sometimes it works. but other times I have to try over and over. It should not be this difficult to turn off.

Thank you for your question. To perform a normal shutdown, do the following: right-click the Windows icon in the bottom-left corner. Select shut down or sign out, and then click shut down. There is also a power button at the top right of the tower, which you can depress to shut the machine off.
