• I just purchased this computer and I am glad I had a monitor with an HDMI port because,This computer only has the capabilities of connecting to a monitor by HDMI port and cable.

• Hello. I'm using my 2008 HP monitor which has a DCI plug in (male) connection. I had to buy an inexpensive DCI male to HDMI male cable as the new PC has no DCI input. It's working wonderfully...great picture. I have a wireless router but I have it plugged directly into the PC so I'm not using WiFi.

• Yes, you can use your existing HP monitor, you can use a USB or HDMI cable to hook it up, and no you do not need a wireless router to hook up your monitor to this.

• You don't have to be wireless - it has an RJ45 jack to connect via Cat5e cable directly to a router or switch. The video is a HDMI jack for which you can buy an adapter to convert and connect an RGA-type cable.

• This computer has wifi capabilities. And the computer has a dvi connector for the moniter, so as long as your moniter has a dvi cable connection
