I checked with HP Support, and they confirmed on their end that the 400w Power Supply part number: L04618-800 is compatible with the ENVY TE01-0034. This replaces the 180W that comes with the TE01-0034. Order from HP directly. You could find and install a nvidia gtx 960 (uses 140W) with a Recommended Total PC System Power of 400W. This would work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not enough horsepower and I would not bother buying this desktop. The PC comes with a 180 watt power supply. This is not enough power to run a decent graphics card. You cannot upgrade the supply either because the motherboard does not have a 20 or 24 pin connector. HP does not sell an upgraded power supply on its website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't have a graphics card. It uses the integrated graphics processor which is in the CPU. You'd need to install a discrete graphics card to play any popular or late model games. First you'd need to find out the output wattage of the power supply and make sure it's strong enough to support a separate graphics card. A good choice for a graphics card would be an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super. They run about $250 and I think they require a power supply that can output at least 500 watts. Nvidia's website would have that information. Another consideration is the size of the case. It might not be big enough to install a full-size graphics card.
