- Answer Currently, there is 1-16 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM gigabyte RAM stick installed. There are 2 slots. It can be upgraded to a total of 32 gigabytes. So, if you wanted you can put in another 16 gigabyte RAM stick.

- Answer This machine comes with 2 video outputs - one HDMI and one VGA. It also has an expansion slot for 1 video board. If you have two HDMI monitors you would need to either add a expansion card, or get a VGA to HDMI converter for the built in output. Either way - two monitors. In actuality, if you added the expansion video card, I think you could run 3 monitors with this machine.

QuestionI tried to turn on the sound but it tells me that my headphones or speakers are not plugged in. How do I turn on the internal sound without headphones or speakers? Or does it have sound at all?

- Answer I checked with HP Support, and they confirmed on their end that the 400w Power Supply part number: L04618-800 is compatible with the ENVY TE01-0034. This replaces the 180W that comes with the TE01-0034. Order from HP directly. You could find and install a nvidia gtx 960 (uses 140W) with a Recommended Total PC System Power of 400W. This would work.

- Answer You would need to install a discrete graphics card to be able to handle a 4K monitor. You might want to look at the Omen desktops that have a discrete graphics card installed already. The recommendation is minimum Nvidia GTX 1070. Anything higher like 1080, 2070 or 2080 GeForce graphics cards can handle 4K resolutions with no problems. For further assistance, I would recommend reaching out to a blue shirt in the computer department.

- Answer You should be OK as long as you lay it on it's right side. If you lay it on the left it will block the vents and the computer will be very likely to overheat.

QuestionI bought this setup a couple of months ago and for the most part I'm very satisfied with it. The keyboard is disappointing in that the keys aren't sensitive. I have to hammer the keys with force. Is there some way to increase the sensitivity of the keys?

- Answer This is a windows function under control panel. To change the keyboard sensitivity: Open Control Panel. Go to Ease of Access Center. Under Explore all settings, click on Make the keyboard easier to use. Under See also, click on Keyboard settings to open Keyboard Properties. In the Speed tab, under Character repeat, adjust the Repeat delay and Repeat rate to your preference. Hopefully this will help you.
