QuestionHow do you open the disc drive door?

- Answer It is not obvious for sure, but you flip open a door that is straight across (if mounted standing) from the power button at the top, and then you'll find the tray and can press the open button for it.

- Answer No, not a gaming PC as is. You’d need a video card. There are better options for gaming. I use this computer for work.

- Answer It has 4 USB Gen 1 Type-A ports and 4 USB 2.0 Type-A ports. It aslo has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port.

QuestionI would like to add a Nvidia GTX 1660 Super to this computer, but have heard HP power supplies are specifically designed to slot into these cases. Do you have HP parts numbers for a 500-650 watt power supply? I have had no success finding one at HP Parts.

- Answer The power supply is proprietary (and only 180 watts)and the motherboard does not have a 20 or 24 pin connector for upgrading the power supply. Avoid this product if you plan on adding a graphics card. 1660 is out of the question. In fact a 1050 is out of the question, also. HP has a 400 watt power supply for this line but you cannot buy it from the site. I tried.

- Answer You can eject the CD by pushing on the 2nd panel from the left of the desktop on the upper half. Once the panel is open, then you will see the CD/DVD drive.

- Answer Out of the box this desktop supports only two monitors: one VGA, one HDMI. The USB to HDMI cable that you have probably requires a USB 3.1 port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. I don't think that is available on this model. If you want to add a third monitor, you need to add a graphics adapter that may require upgrading your power supply as well.

- Answer Not sure what you mean by security program system. Do you mean virus protection and other safeguard features? If this is your question, then the HP Envy comes with McAfee security software but only a short trial period, around one month. Then, McAfee wants to sell you a yearly subscription.
