- Answer The word is “must“ be exactly the same memory sticks. Have not removed any of the ram to check but HP tech support could specify exactly.

QuestionThis tower has an HDMI port. HDMI can transmit video and audio. I bought a 32" HP monitor with HDMI and built in speakers. Does the tower transmit audio over the HDMI to the built in monitor speakers?

- Answer I would say yes. I don't work with AutoCAD but I am familiar enough with it to know that the program is memory intense. I use it for work. I go in and out of open programs, and I go online, and I design and print all at the same time. Also use video presentations and this computer is fantastic for me. I don't work much with 3D so I'm not sure how it will work in that area, but I believe the monitor has a lot to do with that, too. I would talk with the crew at Best Buy because they are knowledgeable about these things. I asked them lots of questions about how I was planning on using this computer and they were 100% correct.

QuestionI have this computer. My power supply is reading low (outside of normal range) on all legs. +3.3V = 2.959V / +5V = 4.408V / +12V = .192V / -12V = -10.311 / -5V = -3.480 I would also like to add a video card. How do I order the larger power supply?

- Answer I tried to get a larger power supply for this PC from Best Buy. Online support suggested a model and said it would work in this PC. I went to a Best Buy store and asked a Blue Shirt there if it would work and he told me it would. Both were incorrect. The power supply they recommended did not physically fit and did not have the proper connectors. The ONLY option that I could find is a 500 watt PS ordered directly from HP. The part number is L05757-800 and the description is GNRC PSU 500W ENT17 FR GLD. It was $139 with shipping and tax. The good news is that it fits perfectly, is very quiet, and (although it's impossible to determine this from the HP website) provides the two 6-pin and one 2-pin cables needed for an optional graphics card. You can even use all four screws to attach whereas with the original PS, you can only use three.

- Answer You'll be able to bring over your data and configuration files, but the games themselves will almost certainly have to be reinstalled. Because of the way that Windows handles installations, the game files may be scattered between three or four folders on the hard drive.
