• Honestly, it was weird to me switching from my previous computer to this one. I could barely hear it even when playing a game from a few years ago (with my speakers off) and getting within a foot of the fan. It's practically noiseless.

• The computer is very quite. Even under very heavy demand with the case cooling fans moving it can barely be heard. Remember the hard drive is SSD with no moving parts and also generates less heat. Coming from a very large previous 10 year old desktop I am very pleased with the speed and quietness.

• The hard drive is solid state. It makes no noise since it has no moving parts. This helps keep things quiet.

• There are two quiet 3" cooling fans (CPU & case). If there is any ambient noise at all, you won't hear them.
