“the HP team said that this model has a thunderbolt 4 port. the specs listed do not match. please explain”

• Thank you for your question! I apologize for the confusion and will have that error corrected. This model does not have a Thunderbolt port, but it does have a SuperSpeed USB Type-C port that supports DisplayPort 1.4 for external displays and docking stations.

• I ran into this as well. After reading the service manual, I discovered that only the Intel version supports Thunderbolt. The AMD version is USB-C 10GBPS only.
