“Since opening the case requires removing two of the rubber feet on the bottom i'm wondering how they are attached and if extras can be ordered since if they are of the glue-on variety they usually don't stick well after being removed.”

I did remove the feet and replace the HDD for an SSD. They do have sticky residue, so just be careful with what tools you use to pull them off, as some of the sticky stuff came off with a flat head. I was able to press all of them back into the sockets and haven't had any feel loose after the hardware swap.
