Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So, this is kind of a tough one. It actually isn't uncommon for there to be some noise. The noise is dictated by a couple of things. First, the power coming from your wall is 120 volts of AC power. Your laptop, on the other hand, uses, at most, 19.5 volts to charge/run it. So the remaining voltage has to be dissipated through the actual converter (the brick part of the charger). That dissipation is mostly in heat, but the process itself can cause noise. So, in general, noise is okay. If it sounds like it's trying to sing you the song of its people though, maybe unplug it and try again!
