“I just bought this laptop. I've had it for one day. When I first opened it and went through the setup, the backlit light on the keyboard lit up. Now it doesn't. How can I turn it back on? Or is this laptop defective?”

• I’m not sure if you have or not, but there is a button on the F1 row that controls the backlighting. It’s possible that you may have accidentally pressed the button while setting it up.

• Try pressing the F4 button. That is the keyboard backlight switch.

• It's the 4th button on the top of the laptop
