Don’t buy it. You can’t find color ink for this anymore

That "8-month" statement assumes that you're printing 300 pages a month (not an unreasonable assumption for a printer geared for office use.)

However, if you pick a lower-tier plan (50 or 100 pages per month) it will run much longer because it's actually 2400 pages total. So on the 100-page plan, you'll get 24 months. On the 50 page plane, it's 48 months-4 full years
