Thank you for the question. When setting up the printer, can can opt out of Instant Ink (not accept the free ink/toner trial). If you opt-in and decide that you want to cancel later, you can log in to your account and cancel the service. Note that once canceled, the cartridges will be rendered inoperable and you'll need to replace them with regular retail cartridges.
