I had a lot of trouble with two of three laptops in the initial setup- finding the printer failed repeatedly, then print jobs would queue but never print, throwing error messages that explain nothing. The solution that worked for me was to completely remove the HP app on my affected laptops, then reboot completely and reinstall the HP app from a fresh download. It now works reliably and windows immediately finds the printer each time on all machines. Follow the original steps that came with the printer after your fresh install of the HP software as if you just unpacked the printer. Annoying, but it worked for me.
