The HP Laserjet Pro M428fdw printer does have two trays. One tray is a paper cassette. The other tray is a multipurpose tray. Both trays can handle paper up to legal size paper. So, you could put letter in one and legal size in the other tray. This printer does have an option to add an additional paper cassette tray that holds up to 550 pages and it handle up to legal size paper. That part number is D9P29A.
