The answer is no. You have to manually set the paper size each time, insert paper, print and the change paper size.

There are a few workarounds that you can do. 1) You can scale a document to fit page size as shown on this website 2) You can choose specific pages to print on from one tray, then you can repeat the same process for the other tray as shown on this webpage: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m478-m479-series/19202514/model/19202521/document/c03324585 3) Some software, like Adobe Acrobat or Reader, will allow you print mixed page sizes as shown on this webpage, https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-mixed-page-sizes-acrobat.html
