“How do you know approximately how many pages are left on the toner cartridge?”

• On the touchscreen, there's an icon that looks like a little beaker with some dots in it. If you press that, it will show you the toner level.

• There is an ink indicator level in the display screen. A 58A toner cartridge ($110) prints about 3000 pages. The printer also can accommodate a high-yield toner - the 58X - that prints about 10,000 pages. It is twice the price of the 58A ($221) but it's an excellent value for the money.
