Are you using the feeder. When you are using the feeder it should scan as one document. Also make sure you have HP smart downloaded onto your computer. That is very helpful.

Are you asking how to save several scanned pages into one file? You can do that two ways - either by loading all of the pages into the automatic document feeder, or using the scan software on your computer to scan individual pages (on the glass or through the feeder) to one file.
