The m283dfw printer with genuine HP 206A cartridge started fading around 800 pages of normal black printing. After the first cartridge's short life i wrote down every page amount. 853 pages and text is so light in places it is barely readable. Expensive cartridges should last as long as advertised. 1300? Im getting less than 2/3 what i paid for. Its not even close.

I was told by the Best Buy representative that the laser cartridges would last up to 2yrs.

The Laserjet Pro M283fdw takes the 206 toner cartridges. The 206A black will yield up to 1350 pages, the 206A Cyan/Magenta/Yellow will yield up to 1250 pages, the 206X black will yield up to 3150 pages and the 206X Cyan/MagentaYellow will yield up to 2450 pages.
