Thank you for your question. The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw and M283fdw are both multifunction printers, but there are a few key differences between them: Printing Speed: The M283fdw generally offers faster printing speeds compared to the M281fdw, making it more efficient for high-volume printing tasks. Connectivity Options: Both models support Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connections, but the M283fdw includes additional connectivity features like Apple AirPrint and Mopria Print Service. Automatic Document Feeder (ADF): The M283fdw has a more advanced ADF, which can handle more pages and offers better scanning capabilities. Touchscreen Interface: The M283fdw features a larger, more intuitive touchscreen interface, making it easier to navigate through its functions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't really tell you. One of my business partners got the M281 and recommended it to me. But by the time I went to purchase it, the M281 was no longer available. I was told that the M283 is essentially the same machine but it is a newer version of the M281. Whether that is true or not, I have no idea. Comparing notes with my business partner, I have not been able to discern any functional difference. However, I have not had occasion to question my purchase as the M283 has been fine and is meeting my expectations. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
