“It says that it does automatic double-sided printing, but I don't see any options on the printer for this, nor is it printing both sides automatically? How do you do this? The description says it comes with a phone cable & software CD, however mine didn't”

Yes look in your print settings you can turn that feature on or off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This model does not have double sided printing. You would need a model like the OfficeJet 5255. Also, recently there was a change where HP removed the extra items from the packaging, this is because such a large number of the phone cables were going to waste and most have quite a few.
