Yes it does allow for feeding a single envelop. The section where your feed paper goes; you will need to remove all of the paper first, then in that same section, place your envelop to the extreme right in the paper feed slot, then slide the light gray size adjustment guide over, (from left to right) to assist in keeping the envelop straight while printing. You will have to experiment on which way to turn your envelop in order to achieve the correct printing orientation on your envelop.

Yes, if an envelope is placed in the paper tray the printer will feed it.
