Can't help with the paper question, but there were no driver downloads. It uses the HP Smart app to install. Very simple.

This can handle letter, legal, 4" x 6", 5" x 7", 8" x 10", no. 10 envelopes, custom from 3" x 5" to 8.5" x 14" (simplex), custom from 3" x 5.5" to 8.5" x 12.2" (duplex).
