Third-party cartridges have a 30% failure rate and are not recommended. For a better low-cost printing option, we recommend HP Instant Ink, available for as little as $2.99/mo for up to 50 pages/photos per month. This works out to $36/year (less than half the price of one set of HP cartridges) and you don't pay for the amount of ink or cartridges used.
