I changed my paper size to print 4 x 6 photos. I now want to copy using a letter size piece of paper-but I cannot figure out how to get the printer to change the size. When I call up the printer on my desktop and change it-the size is letter size null

You change the paper size on the printer screen after you widen the braces back to 8 inches.

You have to manually change the paper size INSIDE the tray itself by sliding the two bars closer together to fit smaller paper - and back AWAY from each other to fit bigger sizes!
