“Does this model suffer from the print head issue as the pro 6830 does?”

• Not having had your printer model (6830) I can only answer for this one (6978), no issues to date. As they say: "Works for me." You might consider to do a search for that model & issues on the net.

• Susan, I had an HP8500 previously and was astounded by the cost of print heads. There were no print heads to install and no mention of print heads in any of the literature. for this new model.6878
